In my hometown, we went through three schools:
Elementary, Middle School and High School.
************************************************************
In Springhurst Elementary, I had
some wonderful teachers.
From first through fifth grade, they taught me how to ask for help when I really needed it and that school can actually be fun! We had wonderful class trips that took us all over our community, so that we could learn about the history of our area. I've never forgotten the teachers that I had then. To this day, I think about them often. While doing this page and looking up the pictures of my schools, I've been able to recall some wonderful memories and remember the teachers that helped make them.
This was my Middle School. When I went there, it held grades six
through eight, but I believe now, it has changed. I also had some
great teachers here too! In Middle School, I was involved with
the school newspaper and other activities that were all
supervised by the teachers. They really encouraged us to get
involved and took the time to be with the students.
Then came High School. I'll
admit, I wasn't the easiest student to have in
class. But as I look back, I realize how hard my teachers tried with me. It was because of one of my teachers that I decided to stay in my particular school. I had been having some trouble and decided to transfer, but after a heart to heart with my social studies teacher, I knew I was going to stay put. He really went out of his way to talk to me and get me involved in class---I've never forgotten that! (Thanx Mr. B!)

Teachers are really incredible people, if you think about it. They use their time to help you learn and get involved. When you get older and look back on the time you spent in school, you'll be surprised at how you remember your teachers. I know that I'll never be able to thank mine the way I'd like to. I just hope this page finds them and let's them know, I haven't forgotten.

If you'd like to say a special thanx to a teacher, feel free to email me
and let me know how a certain teacher has made a difference in your life.
I'd like to make a page full of YOUR special stories.
Here's what to send me:
Your first name
Your teacher's name
Your grade level or age
Short story about how special your teacher is.
(Hey, parents can get in on this too you know!
Do you remember your favorite teacher???)
